‘They’re hardly KIDS’ Corbyn blasted over speech welcoming Calais migrants to Britain

Jeremy Corbyn has been criticised after he gave a speech welcoming refugees from the Calais Jungle to Britain during Wednesday’s Prime Minister’s Questions to urge people to “love and support” child refugees who had recently arrived in Britain.

According to Home Secretary Amber Rudd, hundreds of child refugees are set to arrive in the UK over the next few weeks.

She said that some 800 minors have been interview by Home Office officials during the dismantling of Calais’ refugee camp bover the past week. But one in four local authorities are said to be refusing to accept responsibility for them – including Theresa May’s own constituency of Maidenhead. Read more on express.co.uk.
